Juxtaposed

This piece is the 3rd in my series "The Many Faces of Iris".

The title of this piece is meant to reflect the contrast between the background and the item of interest.  It also reflects that the background colors are what is normally in the flower, with the flower only having one color highlight.

This is done on 140 lb Strathmore Gemini watercolor paper using professional grade Holbein and Windsor and Newton transparent pigments.

Framed dimensions are slightly larger that 16" X 20".  Pricing includes custom frame and matt.  Frame is black with a white matt.
