News Release from the Iowa Watercolor Society

            The Iowa Watercolor Society announces that Constance Luhman of Sergeant Bluff has been selected be a participant in the 37^th Annual Iowa Watercolor Society juried art exhibit.  The showing will be held at the West Des Moines Public Library, 4000 Mills Civic Parkway in West Des Moines, from August 24 through September 24. The opening reception for the IWS and the public will be August 24 from 5-7 pm.  The 37^th annual luncheon and award ceremony will be held on September 7. 

            (Constance) has been painting for 8 years and has studied under the direction of: Bettina Perkins of Anthon, Glenda Drennen of LeMars, Jean Weiner of LeMars, Al Harris-Fernandez of the Sioux City Art Center, and Tom Lynch international artist and instructor.  The selected paintings are titled “My Happy Place” and “Let’s Celebrate”.
